Promote research by POWER Students
The ideal form of promotion
Sponsorship over a semester or year with a (regular) amount provides the basis for offering individual students a reliable foundation for research. The sponsorship commitment can be automatically renewed and terminated at any time to the end of a term.
From experience, it is useful to define a contact for Research Funding (ReF) in your company who coordinates and authorises the promotion of POWER Students, because it is possible to have a decisive influence on topics and results.

General promotion
With financial support, you promote all ongoing projects equally and regularly receive detailed information per semester / per year about the results achieved. To do this, send us a Request as Sponsor.

Promote projects
With your financial support, you as a sponsor can specifically promote themes that are important to you. To do this, you evaluate themes or focus on a topic or send us new themes to be integrated into the evaluation process. To do this, send us a Request as theme sponsor.

Promote students
You can accept students as Dual Students in your company. We offer to accompany these students academically during their practical semesters if you do not have the resources available (technical, personnel, space). Send us for the dual study project your Request for internal supervision.

Promote individually
We can jointly supervise individual projects if you do not have the resources (technical, personnel, space) and help to separate the scientific components (public) from the entrepreneurial (internal) ones. Send us your enquiries to supervise our individual project together.

Workflow for sponsors
We are currently focusing on the first version of the workflows with a very efficient implementation in the web presence. This integration will be further optimised and automated as needed:
- You contact us by e-mail, for which we predefine a text module (e-mail, subject, text).
Please use the above defined links to deliver the proper subject for automation. - The e-mails are manually / automatically turned into tickets in BCS and actively managed and documented there.
The #NEW will be replaced by a ticket number #nnnn. For further communication reference to: [Ticket #nnnn]. - Tickets are manually / (semi-)automatically turned into appointments, quotations, orders, invoices and direct debits.
The integration into the project and Business Coordination System (BCS) is optimised to the extent that initial e-mails can be omitted while complying with the strictest requirements for data protection and security, and parallel the processing is gradually automated.
These improvements between the web presence and the BCS system are implemented as projects with POWER Students as needed. This is oriented towards the goal of optimising the administrative effort so that the investments by sponsors are predominantly made in research. We see ~ 1 h per month as a good orientation.
In the best case, the students are strongly challenged by a high number of sponsors to be able to manage this goal even with 10, 100 or 1000 requests per semester.
The projects so far have shown that the basic technologies could handle this in a relaxed way.
